Any of the great classical composers, perhaps JS Bach.. to understand what the mental processes that create music would actually feel like.

Hearing the voice of someone I haven't talked to in a long time.

3. What do you believe will bring you bad luck?
Don't believe in luck.

4. What is the worst insult?
What I like to call the soft bigotry of lowered expectations.

5. If you had all the Lego's in the world what would you build?
A lego factory.

6. What do you wear to bed?
shorts and whatever old, faded t-shirt is closest.

7. If you could live in a painting, which one would you choose?
I could totally beat a bunch of dogs at poker, so I think that would be most profitable.

8. If you could be any age again, what age would you be and why?
5 was nice, that was before I realized that other kids were capable of being mean just for the sake of it.. but now isn't too bad either.

9. What song you would like played at your funeral?
Any Haydn string quarted, nothing too attention-grabbing.

10. Would you date yourself?
I think so, I'd certainly want to anyway, but neither of us would likely work up the nerve to ask.

11. Which would you rather win? Why?
An Oscar

Pulitzer. Writing feel like the most pure expression of the mind.
