Low carb claims not allowed
I heard this on the radio. Canada is pushing for new food labels, which will detail what is in the food we eat. However contrary to my least favorite fad diet, the low carbohydrate claims will not be allowed on those labels.
Comments:
I'm more concerned about labeling things GMO-free, etc. There was a big flap when the Superstore / Lawblaws stores started doing that a few years ago and the food industry had a conniption fit and forced them to stop.
